Every listing traces back to a named public source — the USDA directory or OpenStreetMap — with locations checked against the US Census Bureau's geocoder. We publish the gaps as openly as the data.

How do I find a farmers market near me?
Use the near-me page to sort every listed market by distance from your current location, or browse by state and city. Listings come from the USDA National Farmers Market Directory plus markets recorded in OpenStreetMap that never registered federally, so coverage is national rather than limited to big cities.
Are farmers market hours listed?
For about a quarter of markets, yes — taken from the market's own USDA listing or its OpenStreetMap record. The rest genuinely have no published hours anywhere, and those pages say so instead of guessing. We would rather leave a field blank than send you to a closed car park.
Which farmers markets accept SNAP or EBT?
Markets that record SNAP/EBT acceptance in their USDA listing are tagged throughout the site, and there is a filtered list for every state. Because the directory is self-reported, an untagged market may still take EBT — ask the market manager.
Is this directory free?
Yes. Browsing every listing is free and always will be. The site is funded by advertising and by market owners who choose to upgrade their listing.
