Featured listings and sponsorship

An audience with unusually clear intent: people deciding where to buy food this weekend.

Farmers Market Atlas lists 7,294 farmers markets, 4,608 farm stands and 1,722 CSA farms across 52 states and territories. Every one of them is listed free, permanently, whether or not anyone pays us.

Featured market listing

$149/ season

Your market pinned above the standard listings on your city page and your state page, with a "Featured" label, your own headline, and a link to your site. Runs one full season — roughly $25 a month while you are actually trading.

Best fit for CSA farms

Featured CSA farm

$499/ year

Same placement on the pages people use to choose a farm share, plus your share sizes, season, delivery options and payment terms in full. A single extra member covers this and leaves change.

City sponsor

$249/ quarter

One labelled sponsor block on one city page — for CSAs, co-ops, farm-box services and regional food brands rather than individual markets. One sponsor per city, no rotation, no bidding.

Founding rate. These prices are low because the site is new and traffic is still building. Whatever you sign up at is locked for two years, even as traffic grows. We would rather have operators who backed it early than squeeze the first hundred.

Does the CSA price make sense?

Work it backwards, because we would rather you did the arithmetic than took our word for it. A full CSA share sells for somewhere between $400 and $800 a season. The placement costs $499 a year. So the listing pays for itself the moment it brings you one member — and if it brings none, it was the wrong purchase and you should not renew it.

That is the entire pitch. We are not going to tell you a directory listing is a growth strategy. It is a cheap shot at one member, on the pages where people are already choosing between farms in your state.

What you get

  • Placement above standard listings on your city and state pages, clearly labelled.
  • Your own headline and description on your listing — your words, not our summary.
  • A link to your site, marked as a paid placement, as Google requires.
  • Your season, hours and product list kept current, because you can email us changes directly.

What we won't do

  • Sell ranking in a way we hide. Every paid placement is labelled as one.
  • Remove, bury or downgrade a market because a competitor paid.
  • Charge anyone to correct their own information.
  • Claim traffic we do not have. Ask, and you get the real analytics.

Display advertising

Standard display units run in a fixed number of positions per page. No auto-playing video, no pop-ups, and no content-recommendation widgets.

Get in touch

Email hello@farmersmarketatlas.com with your market or farm name and the town it is in. If you only want to fix something in your listing, use the free correction form instead — that never costs anything.

Questions

How much traffic does the site get?
It launched in August 2026, so the honest answer today is: not much yet, and we will not pretend otherwise. That is exactly why the founding rate exists and why it is locked for two years. Ask us for current numbers before you buy — we will send the real ones, and if they are too low to justify the price we will tell you to wait.
Does paying change my listing's information?
No. Hours, location, SNAP status and product lists come from the same public sources whether or not you pay, and corrections are free for everyone. What you buy is position and the ability to add your own copy and a link.
Can I pay to outrank a competitor?
You can buy a featured slot, which sits above the standard listings on your city and state pages and is labelled as featured. You cannot buy the removal or demotion of anyone else, and we will not sell that.
When should I buy a CSA placement?
December through March. That is when people search for a farm share, because sign-ups close before the season starts. A placement bought in July spends most of its first months in the quiet part of the year — worth knowing before you spend the money.
What if my listing is wrong?
Tell us and we will fix it for free. Accurate data is not something we charge for — a directory that holds corrections hostage is not worth listing in.
