About Two Roots Farm
Two Roots Farm has been growing vegetables, herbs, and flowers for the Roaring Fork Valley using regenerative methods since 2016. We aim to grow food in the cleanest, healthiest way possible: prioritizing the vitality of our farmers, soil, and eaters above all else. We use organic growing practices, minimum tillage, biodynamic compost, crop rotations, increased biodiversity, and sustainable methods to grow the best produce possible without the use of any chemicals, herbicides, or pesticides. We rely on integrated pest management, building healthy soil, and hard working farmers to maintain a vibrant farm. Our pastures are managed using management-intensive rotational grazing, no-spray, and no-till methods. We sell our produce into the Roaring Fork Valley through a CSA, an onsite farm stand, and local restaurants. Two Roots Farm provides produce to Lift Up (Basalt- Rifle grassroots food insecurity organization), the Pitkin County Senior Center, and regional food pantries.
