About this market

We created the first winter market in Maine and are located in Fort Andross, an old mill along the Androscoggin River. Our vendors live in Maine and represent their own business. We are farmers, bakers, product producers, craftspersons enthusiastically supported by the community. Our partnership the Maine Federation of Farmer's Markets, we accept SNAP payments and offer the Bonus Bucks program, which gives SNAP customers extra 'money' to spend on food purchased at our market. Most proudly, we are a vendor-run market, a co-operative entity, with major decision making decided by the market vendor/members. We hold an annual meeting to address any changes and concerns as well as a New Vendor Meeting where all vendor hopefuls can meet the membership and present their business with the hope of filling any vacant positions for the coming market season.
